What is life without goal? Every member of society has goals and a generic outline of the path they want to take to achieve what they feel capable of, regardless of if life or a greater being, or circumstance (which ever you believe in) has an alternate route or alternative destination. Coexisting with this ideology, is one of the greatest questions of all time. What is more important? The journey or the destination? Could they be equal? Almost like a paradox, there is no success without failure. What does this mean in perspective to careers and entrepreneurial success? It means that one must have the perspective that success is not defined by climbing the hill to view the landscape, it is defined by scaling the mountain to reach the summit to experience the world. The difference between mediocrity and excellence. To succeed is to be washed away in the river and learning to swim, to fall from the cliff and build a parachute. Success is a mindset of adoption to your surroundings to prosper, regardless of how tough the climate and how strenuous the terrain.For me, success is defined by two aspects, the first being what can I do for myself, and the other being what can I do for others? At the end of it all, there is no greater wealth than genuine, lasting happiness. Not the happiness that comes from buying a new car, or a dream home, but the happiness of leaving a legacy and making a positive impact in society.
