Dedicated to merging my medical and research pursuits, I am on a path to earn a medical degree and become a physician-scientist. With 4 years of emergency healthcare experience as an EMT, coupled with clinical lab practice in Emergency Room settings, I am a versatile alumnus of the Biomedical Sciences program at the University of South Florida. Currently contributing to research in Dr. Jolan Walter's MD-PhD lab, I focus on studying novel variants of inborn errors of immunity. Simultaneously, my role as a subject matter research consultant at Florida State University involves collaborating on NIH-funded studies within the Adolescent Medicine Trials Network for HIV Interventions (ATN). From study design to participant-facing materials, my passion for clinical research aligns seamlessly with my goal of impacting surgery through innovative biomedical advancements.
