I spent a month working closely alongside couturier, Lee Paton to exhibit his new collection ‘Un Bouquet de I’Impératrice ‘and make his vision come to life. This was an amazing, unique and successful experience that made me take a leap outside of my comfort zone. The designer had produced an amazing collection, however, was struggling to meet his deadline for the fashion showcase. My duties entailed: • Working on a very tight schedule and deadline, both on site and at home.• General research and studies to do with the fashion industry. Including watching many documentaries on couture fashion.• Managing and liaising with the multi-national guest list.• Itinerary implementation and management (including a celebrity guest performance).• Finding and organising an extensive list of suppliers and servitors whilst sticking to the budget.• Liaising with the venue and all suppliers / servitors.• Managing three members of staff ensuring all delegated tasks were sufficiently completed• Ensuring smooth running of the event on the day.For the aftermath of the event, the designer and I planned a 3-day special London experience for our VIP international clients, that came to London solely for this event. I organised this all and it wrapped up what was a perfect weekend for many clients.
