- Portable medical monitoring system: Designed and developed a data acquisition system that captures several biosignals and displays them in a laptop. The system includes A/D & D/A chips, microcontrollers, DSPs, and CPLDs, and its interface to PC is USB 2.0.- Automatic vehicle location system: Employing MC9S12 microcontroller, GSM module, and GPS module, a device was designed to localize mobile objects. The system’s parameters can be set manually, using a keypad and LCD panel in a car, or programmed remotely from a base station.- Telephone voice ciphering device: Designed and developed a device which is placed between the line and the phone to provide a secured channel for communication in public networks, PSTN. Due to the redundancy imposed by the ciphering algorithms and to conserve the maximum baud rate allowed, a voice coder - MELP 2.4Kbps vocoder - was implemented on TMS320F2810.- PCM-11 multiplexer: Developed a control unit that handled the timing of multiplexing 11 telephone lines, using 68HC12 microcontroller.
