Worked within the core R&D team developing solutions for high-performance FEC, low complexity FEC and bandwidth efficient FEC. I am being part of coded-modulation team developing the solutions for spectrally efficient FEC with the techniques such as multi-level coding (MLC), constellation shaping and FEC for turbo loop equalization specifically designed for optical communication system.

I investigated coded-cooperative communication systems employing forward error correction (FEC) codes in cooperative communication for wireless communication. Different FEC were used along with their distributed construction such as Turbo code with distributed construction, Polar code with Plotkin’s and Nested construction, Reed-Muller code with Plotkin and Hadamard transform construction and Reed-Solomon code with Nested construction. Higher order modulations with MIMO scheme such as spatial modulation and space time block codes (STBC) are combined with Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) and Single Carrier Frequency Division Multiple Access SC-FDMA systems were also employed with distributed FECs to further improve the bit error-rate and spectral performance of the designed coded-cooperative communication schemes
