I work in a Nursery that follows bilingual curriculum to address the needs of children with Arabic as their first language. In order to provide the best learning objectives for the children, I developed an Arabic Curriculum that matches the need and level of the children as well as matches the curriculum objectives set by the UAE Ministry of Education. Following is a brief outline of the curriculum plan and resources that I produced. Being the head of Arabic Department , I hold the responsibility of training all the staff members in my department. The trainings include strategic planning, curriculum planning, and all the topics related to the areas of learning and development of children. I provide orientation and on going training for the new staff members. Based on the training and meetings with the staff members, I am responsible to conduct their termly and annual appraisals and discuss their continuous professional development program.
