Registered Social Worker with a Master's in Social Work from New York University and a prior educational background in Forensic Psychology and Criminal Justice from Ontario Technological University (formerly University of Ontario Institute of Technology). My lived experiences and education in mental health have shaped my passion for anti-oppressive, trauma-informed service provision on the individual, institutional, and systemic levels. Within mental health, my interests lie in mental health policy and research, leadership development work, coalition building, organizational management, and exploring creative (musical and artistic) avenues of healing for BIPOC communities. Outside of Social Work, you will find me eagerly soaking up all there is to know about music theory and black holes. Please feel free to reach out if you are looking to connect!
