Penn Data Science Group (PDSG) is a student organization focused on providing real-world data science experience to the Penn community (students, alumni, and staff are all welcome!). Started by SEAS graduates, the club boasts a diverse group of members from undergrads to postdocs from various departments. Our group's mission is to help members better understand the data science career path and the requirements to enter the data science industry. Over the years, PDSG has organized various corporate projects, technical workshops, mock interviews, and helped members in their search for jobs. Last year, our community consulting/data science projects included partnerships with local Philadelphia organizations and a collaboration with a Wharton-grad-lead startup; we have similar projects planned for the 2022-2023 AY. Previously, the club also published a technical paper, accepted at The World Web Conference, making it one of the few tech clubs with a publication of its own!
