As a Library Assistant at North Cobb Regional Library, I provide information to patrons regarding library services, fees, procedures, city information, and directions, and other issues. Additionally, I am responsible for checking library materials in and out and operating the library's automated circulation system to charge, discharge, and renew books. Along with traditional library assistant roles, I also provide computer and reference assistance to library patrons. Lastly, I aid in various programs that stem in subjects such as STEM, art, and literature.

Maryland

As a Research Assistant for the Flight to Freedom project with the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad National Historic Park in collaboration with Howard University, I was responsible for analyzing various certificates of freedom in Maryland. By examining these documents, I was not only to identify physical characteristics of each newly emancipated person but to also create a broader picture of Maryland’s cultural landscape of slavery during Harriet Tubman’s participation in the Underground Railroad.

Atlanta, Georgia

As an intern at the City of Atlanta's Watershed department, my duties include creating work orders, answering phone calls that are elevated from the 311 information center and check walk in customers who need to establish new water service with the City of Atlanta.
