I reconcile and settle monthly interest with respective external Counterparties; I reconcile Counterparty portfolios in accordance with proposed EMIR frequencies; I identify, manage and resolve trade discrepancies and report to stakeholders. I am to support Front Office initiatives to increase volumes, counterparts and frequency of Margin Calls; Maintain desktop procedures relating to day to day processes. I assess and on-board mandatory regulatory requirements as part of EMIR - relating to CCP requirements, Collateralisation, Portfolio Reconciliation and Dispute Resolution. I also ensure market developments and best practices are rigorously followed and adopted as part of the overall framework.

The position focuses on ISDA CSA documentation review and interpretation into the collateral system (Colline). I assist the Collateral Manager to ensure a complete and comprehensive review of all legal documentation, system data, and reporting. I ensure a timely, accurate and complete set up of new and amended collateral agreements within tight deadlines. I ensure controls on collateral management processes are monitored and exceptions resolved in a timely manner. I ensure the accurate setup of all static data associated with products. I work together with other functions of the business to provide excellent client service. The role is developing my understanding of the impact of collateral processing and the reconciling of items on other parts of the business.

Responsible for running daily reports related to exposure and liquidity of the business, and escalating these daily to Senior Management. I identify and analyse large mark-to-market differences in valuations of client’s portfolios and query any discrepancies with Middle Office, liaising with colleagues in the US, India, Japan and Singapore. In raising issues of data quality within the feed systems, I am often on calls with the data support teams, to drive down the causes and resolve any issues to minimize any adverse impact to daily margin calls

Primary responsibilities include i) Assisting the Collateral Management Data Integrity Team with trade rejection queries coming from the collateral groups in NY, LON, TYO, HK; ii) Analyzing & resolving/classifying trades on a global basis rejected by the collateral management system, using Algo and liaising with Legal, Credit, and the Business (traders); iii) Maintaining/enhancing procedures on how to investigate and resolve trade rejections, through being comfortable with manipulating data (Excel); iv) Highlighting recurrent trends to management;

Researched on the Coffee Sector, through conducting interviews of stakeholders, such as Association Presidents, Coffee Board Directors, and Cooperative Bank Managers. To follow, using my findings and research I drafted a 30-page report.
