Accountabilities:Responsible for a category of 26 products representing 42 crores (INR) in sales revenue annually.Comprehensive coordination of all product development activities, from preparation of Product Requirement Dossier to research and assessment of product ideas, implementation and commercial launch.Trend mapping and sales forecasting for the product lineEnsuring prioritization of lead times by the product supply team for the category for quick reclamations.Adhering to the working capital limits by warehouse stock analysis and minimizing obsolescence and maximizing secondary product movement. Developing a training manual on the category and conducting product trainings.Performing competition analysis by keeping abreast of market trends to achieve market share metrics. Highlights:Conceptualised, developed and delivered fourteen new products for the product line.Instrumental in growing the category by 27 % in two years.Developed and established a post product launch feedback mechanism for new products.Developed and presented a model for assessing the location viability while appointing a new franchisee for Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities.Worked on a market research project for developing a Green (eco friendly) product range for the category.
