The Office of Capital Projects and Facilities manages and oversees NYU's largest capital construction projects and is responsible for approximately $200 million in capital construction projects, $60 million in deferred maintenance projects, and 150,000 work order requests annually. My duties include, Deliver technical and planning support to FMs for managing more than 100 interior classroom spaces as part of NYU’s Strategic Assessment, Planning and Design (SAPD) team using AutoCAD and NYU Space Management System. Space designing and planning of more than 25 NYU properties for reopening NYU post Covid-19 crisis. Maintaining 100+ work-orders of contractors for NYU’s 135 buildings/properties using FacilityMax™. Collaborate and fetch building drawings and specifications from NYU Building Records, handling confidential/sensitive data and mapping of new unlabeled maps in Access database.

Larsen & Toubro Limited, Buildings and Factories – Independent Company is one of the largest construction firms in India. Being a Graduate Engineering Trainee here was a privilege and I assisted senior Civil engineers at the site by supervising shuttering, structural steelwork, column and beam casting, and communicating bar bending schedule with the general contractor. Moreover, I also worked with Planning, Execution, MEP and Site Safety teams at the site to conduct quality control checks and communicated daily progress reports to Project Manager. I also had an opportunity to study the BIM model of the project. In the supervision of my seniors, I have managed resources for Mivan shuttering, rebar and concreting of 5 slabs for 2 residential towers.
