Application Specialist
CurrentDevelopment and Support of GSA's Applications and Suites for Government Organisations and Private Sector.Responsible for understanding client’s Business needs and involvement in resultant analysis and feasibility studies in order to help create the proposed project plan.Development, Installation, Configuration and Support of all GSA's Applications.Working on the entire software life cycle and responsible for the development of complete applications, in addition to providing ongoing development support to existing clients where required.Following the capture of requirements, participation in converting the functional specification into a technical/design specification and working as part of the CSU Application Development team through the development of the new requirement.Attend customer sites to deliver and update GSA software solutions configured and working as per the customers’ requirements.Participate in customer facing meetings to discuss product development and requirements, and to understand problems encountered and work together to a resolution.Administer and maintain in house Development Environments and Microsoft Server installations.
