• Write testimony for the Commission to lobby on legislation at the state and local levels.• Brief the Commission on state-level environmental legislation.• Wrote a resolution, which passed the West Lafayette City Council, to initiate a city-sponsored study on microplastic contamination of wastewater. Contributed to that study with city staff.

• Developed Senate Bill 255 (2022), Senate Bill 335 (2023), and House Bill 1453 (2023) to establish a climate-change task force for Indiana. Earned the support of 14 sponsors (six Republican and eight Democratic legislators) and a coalition of 112 stakeholders.• Coordinated a hearing for SB 335 (2023) in the Indiana Senate Environmental Affairs Committee. Assembled 10 organizations, companies, and experts to testify and 35 others to submit written testimony.• Organized the Indiana Climate Policy Conference in September 2022 in Indianapolis. Recruited 12 experts to speak about climate solutions to 125 attendees, including legislators, lobbyists, and students on field trips.• Testified against House Enrolled Act 1383 (2024), which reduced the size of Indiana's most protected class of state-regulated wetlands.• Coauthored testimony against House Bill 1399 (2024), which would have placed an unscientifically narrow definition of PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) into the Indiana Code.• Wrote a successful $2,500 grant proposal to fund a mental health retreat for youth activists.

• Wrote testimony and public messaging as part of the successful effort to pressure Indiana’s governor to veto House Enrolled Act 1211 (2022), which threatened environmental rulemaking.• Developed talking points and mobilized volunteers to help defeat House Bill 1224 (2022), which targeted corporations' clean energy goals.• Was interviewed by PBS host Kelly Corrigan in front of an audience of 200 people in Jacksonville, Florida, for a 50-minute episode on her national Kelly Corrigan Wonders podcast. The Arthur Vining Davis Foundations funded this event.

• Managed David Sanders’s Democratic campaign for the Indiana Senate in a “likely Republican” district of 135,000 people. We outperformed the statewide Democratic campaigns in four of the district’s six counties, and we won the most populous and competitive county of the district.• Raised $7,400 from 61 donors through donor research, cold-calling, text campaigns, and social media campaigns.• Coordinated the efforts of 25 volunteers to text 17,000 voters, call 4,000 voters, and canvass 7,000 doors in 30 towns.• Managed the campaign’s voter database.• Developed the campaign website.• Wrote PR messaging for voter outreach and media relations.

Managed the legislative engagement and strategy of the Indiana High School Democrats. Coordinated the Indiana High School Democrats’ campaign to advocate for fair redistricting.

Interned in one of the most successful fundraising teams in the country at the time, which raised $6 million for progressive candidate Nina Turner in Ohio’s 11th Congressional District.
