As an engineer, leader, and supervisor of teams with 13 years of experience in the Oil Sands industry, I enjoy promoting continuous improvement and out-of-the-box thinking to solve technical challenges. For the last two years, I have identified and led a few continuous improvement projects which have led to multimillion-dollar savings without significant investment, using a risk-based asset capability maximization approach. Recently, I was able to solve some less known problems in the oil sands industry using advanced analytics, resulted in significant yield improvement of the plant. I am passionate about using analytics to solve business and technical problems.
