✓ Design and development of new steel grades based on customer requirement for major components of automobiles.✓ Simulation on CAD models as per specification requirements and application of components for which the new grades are developed to validatetheir costing, production, performance.✓ Creation of Bill of materials, standard work instructions for new product development.✓ Developing innovative manufacturing concepts for quality improvement and achieve business objectives.✓ Work closely with cross-functional teams to solve technical issues.✓ Collaboration with the customer, Project managers, CFT Teams for combined design and development of new products.✓ Documentation of standard work procedures and best practices.✓ Design of 2D and 3D models and drawings of automotive components with respect to standards and specifications using GD&T methodology.✓ Work closely with CAM and AE teams for new product introduction in the market.✓ Life cycle management of the new products developed.✓ Advanced product quality planning, research paper and patent works.✓ Optimisation of the product and process designs to improve production, reliability, cost and safety.✓ DFMEA and PFMEA for risk assessment and verification of design and process for mitigation of the risk factors.✓ Ensure Lean and six sigma approach for quality management.✓ Participate in ISO, IATF and inter departmental audits.
