I am a Chartered Accountant with five years of experience in different roles in Private Equity, Startups, and Venture Capital. I started my career in a Private Equity firm, where I worked for two years on an investment in the paper industry. In this role, I handled financial and operational tasks and learned about the challenges faced by traditional industries.Next, I joined a startup as a Senior Executive. My job was mostly around financial modeling and financial analysis. After six months, I became Chief of Staff to the CEO. In this role, I worked in many areas like marketing, sales, operations, financial analysis, and compliance. I also helped the CEO manage important projects. This gave me a good understanding of how businesses work (especially Startups).After 1.5 years in that role, I moved to a Venture Capital firm as Manager of Investments. My main job was to handle mergers and acquisitions (M&A). I helped review companies for investments, checked their finances, and worked on deals.
