Rahul is the Managing Partner and founder of the Firm. As part of his practice, he provides legal services to a wide range of corporate and institutional clients. He has represented the several corporates in major transactions as a lead negotiator/ attorney/ external counsel.Rahul has counselled and negotiated on behalf of local and multinational clients major business transactions and projects. He has advised clients on a range of contentious issues including international corporate commercial transactions, banking and insurance matters along with mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures. Rahul frequently advises on exchange control regulations, foreign investments in Qatar and India, outbound investments from Qatar, incorporation of entities in Qatar, power and infrastructure projects, and other general corporate matters. He also advises companies for issue and dealing of securities in the primary and secondary market along with setting up of funds.Rahul has also advised several start-ups with incorporation and complying with applicable laws and is empaneled with the Qatar Development Bank and the Ministry of Transport and Communication as an advisor to their Digital Incubation Centre (DIC). He also regularly chairs sessions organized by DIC and QBIC to assist start-ups to do business in Qatar.As part of his arbitration and litigation practice, he represented numerous entities in local and international arbitration matters which includes leading insurance and holding companies in Qatar. His clientele list covers various jurisdictions including the U.S.A, GCC, Singapore, U.K., Sweden, India, Cayman Islands, BVI, etc. His clients are spread across various industry sectors like government, financial institutions, pharmaceutical and healthcare, real estate, entertainment, and sports.
