Primary objective is to reach the collective goal of carbon neutrality in the upcoming future and therefore, the logistic branch has to focus on various new ventures. Electrification of long-haul heavy-duty fleet is one way to achieve this goal. The focus of the project was to reduce the life-time total cost of ownership of electrical heavy-duty vehicles for fleet operators. Being part of the team, following sub-tasks were fulfilled: > Design and integration of alternative powertrain technologies for electrified heavy-duty commercial vehicles with battery electric drive as well as with pantograph and fuel cell systems; design and development of the low-voltage and high-voltage (LV/HV) on-board electrical system,> Development of Test plan for concept validation, Commissioning of partial/full vehicle systems and troubleshooting of various system errors,> Contact partner and information exchange interface between interdisciplinary teams (E/E, Software, Testing, Vehicle-Integration, Thermal Management, Workshop),> Gathering requirements for external test procedures and coordinating the individual operating licence (EBE) of prototype commercial vehicles,> Development of system functional architecture (Software/Hardware), Development of the isolation concept monitoring system of a BEV-Hybrid vehicle with Pantograph system,> Development of a LiDAR and Camera based overhead line detection system for BEV-Hybrid vehicles with Pantograph system,> Institute Tasks: High-Voltage refresher courses for project workers; Student supervision of project and thesis work; Preperation of Lecture modules; Scientific publications in field of Axial-Flux drives and e-Trucks.

Part of the initial team that developed the first functional e.GO Mover prototype and the position came with following responsibilities: > Design and layout of the E/E architecture of an autonomous driving mini-Bus and development of the wiring harness,> Commissioning of partial/full vehicle systems and execution of vehicle test plan,> Initial concept development of a Trike-Trailor-Unit without a physical tow-bar for letter/packet delivery.

Focus was on vector control of induction motors in field oriented co-ordinate system and the goals of the project were:> To design a field oriented controlled model of an induction motor in Matlab/Simulink.> To design various observer models in Matlab/Simulink used for estimation of magnetizing current as well as flux angle and compare their performance,> To analyse the model sensitivity for the changes in various parameters like the mutual inductance, rotor resistance and the stator resistant due to temperature change during operation.

Aixtreme Racing is the Formula Student team of FH Aachen, which builds & presents it's race car every year at prestigious design events like Formula Student Germany, UK & Spain. Serving the team electric the tasks based on my profile are the following: > Design of a servo actuated clutch control unit.> Design of the cable harness & documentation of the complete E/E architecture. > Conceptual development of an electronic throttle actuation system.

Primary focus of the institute is to make various renewable energy resources commercially viable. Tasks associated to my profile were:> To optimise an existing ultrasonic acoustic sensor used to acquire vibrations from a rock subjected to fracture under high temperature & pressure.> Programming of transient recorder used to record the acoustic signals.

Working as a Sales Engineer, I was part of the team directly responsible for the sales of our OVP Solutions. My responsibilities for the role are following: > To meet the prospective leads & work as an interface between the clients & the design team facilitating seamless information flow.> Educate the clients with the help of presentations & demos, the latest trend in the technology & consulting them to take their next steps in their business.

Broadcast System Integration caters the need of many premium TV Channels & Media houses. As a broadcast engineer & working for the design team I was responsible for the following activities:> Designing of the high & low level workflow documents & to assist the implementation team.> Generating BOMs/BOQs with the help of the internal design team & our external suppliers.
