Dr. Rahul is a practising nephrologist based at Hyderabad. His areas of interest are Critical care Nephrology, Acute Kidney Injury (AKI), Therapy for Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), Disorders of Sodium, Uncontrolled Hypertension, Blood Pressure in Young, Diabetic Kidney Disease, Recurrent Urinary Tract Infections & Renal Transplantation. He is an expert in Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy CRRT , Haemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis .He did his DNB (Nephrology) from Mediciti Hospitals, did his MD (General Medicine) from JNMC, Belgaum and completed his MBBS from Kamenini Institute of Medical Sciences, Narketpally. He is currently practicing at KIMS hospitals, Kondapur as consultant nephrologist. Prior to this assignment he worked as consultant nephrologist as Citizens Hospitals, Nallagandla. At Citizens Hospitals he was involved in improving the OP dialysis unit, where 600 haemodialysis sessions are being done every month. He started live renal transplantation program in 2019 and Cadaver transplant program in 2020 at Citizens Hospitals . Prior to Citizens Hospital Dr. Rahul worked as Resident Doctor at Care Hospitals, Banjara Hills. Alongside, he is a visiting consultant nephrologist at Gaman Multispeciality Hospital Gachibowli, Medlife Hospitals, Bhadrachalam , Nephroplus Dialysis Unit, Kothagudem and Khammam .He is actively involved in organizing various National and International conferences at Renown Clinical Services. He Co-organizer and participated in the 18th ADQI, held at Hyderabad in 2016, on the topic of ‘Management of AKI in the developing world’. He also Co-organized for the ‘Annual Selections from AKI & CRRT, San Diego’ conference being held at Hyderabad annually since 2016. The conference is presently in its 7th year.He published papers on "Incidence and risk factors of urinary tract infection in catheterized patients" admitted at tertiary care hospital.
