I am a final-year Biomedical Science student at Monash University. I am passionate about learning about the human body and improving health outcomes for people. I have understood various aspects of healthcare, the importance of teamwork in healthcare and the importance of providing more accessible information to patients. I have improved these skills through the rigorous Biomedical Science coursework and team projects, often requiring my groups to present information in an easy-to-digest manner.I improved my organisational skills, leadership and communication skills through being a peer mentor. In this experience, I helped guide 10 new Biomedical Science students in the first semester of their degree, helping them get accustomed to the university environment.Using the skills developed, I aim to pursue a healthcare career.
