Alternative Development Initiative (ADI) is a non government development organization and a national Micro finance Institution (MFI) founded in 1993. The goal of ADI is to develop rural women’s institution for restoring and protecting their interest to establish their rights and realize their role in the society and also to bring livelihood security of poorer households by involving them in development activities.My role in ADI comprises of monitoring and showcasing our Micro finance program and well as 7 of our other core programs (Agriculture, Fisheries, Livestock, Education, Healthcare, Adolescent care and Elderly care) through our various softwares and publication platforms both digital and traditional respectively.

CNRS is a pro environmental NGO of Bangladesh, specializing in climate change adaptation and natural resource & biodiversity conservation.My involvement in CNRS (till date):1) Designed and supervised development of the official CNRS website in 2017 - www.cnrs.bd.org2) Assisted in Field visits, Photography, designed and constructed final report presented in addis ababa, 2019. Project: Governance for Climate Resilience (G4CR) -Governance for climate resilience (G4CR), a two-year long project being implementedin coastal Shyamnagar sub-district of Satkhira district, Bangladesh overa period of 2 years starting from October 2017. The project villages were locatedat the front line of climate change impacts. Livelihoods of targeted communitiesbeing regularly affected by both extreme events (cyclones, storm surges, erraticrainfall, flooding, sea turbulence) as well as by slow onset processes viz. sealevel rise, salinizaton, rising temperature, dryness, ecosystem degradation. Assuch, local communities are increasingly facing challenges in accessing safewater, food security and resilient livelihoods.The project focused on:i) Rights-based resilience buildingii) Policy and institutional analysesiii) Research and communicationCNRS adopted Nature-based solution (NbS) approach to address various societal challenges atproject site viz. food security, water security, declining fish yields & biodiversity,livelihood security, disaster risk reduction (DRR) and climate change adaptation(CCA) assessed through a justice lens.The International Center for Climate Change and Development (ICCCAD),Center for Climate Justice- Bangladesh (CCJ-B) and Center for Natural Studies(CNRS) jointly implementing the project with funding from the New VentureFund (NVF), USA.
