For the past two year’s I have been involved in risk assessment of berthing LNG ships at the port of Dahej , Dabhol and Cochin whereby I was actively involved in setting safety parameters for both the ports- Cochin as the depth alongside is variable throughout the year , Dabhol being open to weather and Dahej where the tidal range is very high . I have also been a port Captain for a LPG carrier whereby assisting the vessel team in expediting the turnaround in the port of Sikka. I have also done port compatibility for LNG Q Flex ship’s calling the Japanese ports of Hachinove, Dunkirk, Al Sheikh Sabah and Naoetsu. I have been Loading Master for multi grade discharge of Base oil (4 grades) into barges at Mumbai port. I have carried out Cargo Audit’s for Dynagas at Petronet LNG terminal Dahej and LNG terminal at Dabhol. I have extensive knowledge of shipping in general and LNG/Tankers in particular. Have worked as expeditor for Charters for out turn of a VLCC.
