Dr. Rahulkumar Sunil Singh has completed doctoral degree in material science, mainly focused on magnetic materials at the University of Utah, USA. He did his bachelor’s from IIT Roorkee with the President of India Gold Medal. It would not be hyperbole to say that innovation is in his vein. He has published several international research journals, consequently Union Minister, Dr. Harsh Vardhan gave him the prestigious national award (SRISTI)-Gandhian Young Technological Innovation (GYTI) Appreciation Award- 2020 for his research on recycling waste Lithium-ion batteries.While being academically brilliant, Mr, Rahul has always been inclined towards the welfare of society, and his zeal led him to become the General Secretary of National Service Scheme (NSS), IIT Roorkee. With his great leadership skills, he led a team of around 1000 students and liaised with several college administrations, government officers, and NGOs in carrying out various technical-driven innovative events. His various initiatives in the field of Youth Leadership have been widely acknowledged through other awards such as the Manoj Jain Award for Excellence in Human Values, Harsh Wardhan Award for Excellence in Leadership, etc.Mr. Rahul has also created an innovative “Mathematics Trick Book” for improving the interest of school kids and continuously inspires many young brains in the small towns and villages who want to achieve great heights. Currently, He is also working on a hybrid Ed-tech startup with a collective goal to nurture the poor talents. Besides, his inquisitive mind was more inclined towards science at a very young age; Mr. Rahul has also experience of working for FMCGs companies like beverage (Coca-Cola), Cereal (Kellogg’s), etc. of several countries as business analyst at Decision Point. Recently his interview under the title "Beating Odds." is also published in the Corporate Citizen Magazine that is one of the largest circulation magazines focused on the corporate world.

(Govt of India) Ranchi. ● A low carbon martensitic hot rolled steel plate of Rourkela steel plant (Odisha) was used for the investigation of the effect of grain size and packet size on impact toughness. ● The grain size and packet size were characterized using the optical microscope and scanning electron microscopy. ● The martensitic steel samples were quenched at different temperatures and tempered at 300C. Further, the change in impact toughness was measured using changes in morphology. -
