Responsible for exhaust system development, calibration optimization/support and project management for a customer specific diesel or natural gas engine application. - Project Leader for developing a fully functional (TWC + SCR + CUC) system concept and controls strategy for satisfying EPA tailpipe emissions limit on a High Efficiency Cost Optimized Lean-Burn Natural Gas Engine to minimize fluid (Fuel + DEF) consumption. - Assisted in resolving a top warranty issue (> $8M USD) on a light duty diesel application due to rapid degradation of SCR washcoat.

Responsible for calibration and validation of Bosch owned diagnostic algorithms intended for light duty diesel application (Cummins 5.0L V8 Engine) to meet the gaseous emission regulations of California Air Resources Board (CARB). - Led the initiative to recalibrate a complex Bosch owned diagnostic feature which detects failed fuel injectors that impacts tailpipe emissions using the 8D problem solving approach, this initiative led to savings of over $15M in potential warranty costs.- Developed detailed troubleshooting guides covering all possible failure modes to ensure accurate and efficient troubleshooting which would in return result in lower warranty costs and quick vehicle turnaround.

Supported the Value Package Introduction (VPI) technical work of Cummins Emission Solutions with regards to exhaust system performance, specifically focusing on the High Horse Power Off-Highway product portfolio to mitigate urea deposits formation. - Key contributor to patent a production intent concept titled “Integrated decomposition chamber with bluff body design to enhance mixing by swirl effect to reduce urea deposits in (SCR) Systems (US 14-0173-CES)” to minimize warranty costs due to product failures. - Developed a unique test method to determine Uniformity Index (UI)/ Flow Distribution Index (FDI) on a parallel multi flow path SCR system using six sigma tools and methodologies to validate the accuracy of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation predicted results.- Received the Cummins Catalyst recognition award for exceptional performance and exceeding stakeholder expectations consistently.

Developed a fully automated and interactive MS Excel based tool using macros to sort, post process and analyze emissions audit data for the entire range of Cummins Engine portfolio to allow easy certification data access and visibility to all internal and external stakeholders.
