My work focuses on all aspects of Transfer Pricing including planning, compliance, controversy, CSAs, APA and global documentation. With over 18 years of experience, I have supported clients in over a dozen industries with a slightly stronger focus on healthcare companies. Having worked both in US and outside US, I am able to have a balanced perspective on current transfer pricing challenges of MNCs.Lately I have taken over the responsibility for driving the Deloitte US Operational Transfer Pricing effort, which is needed by a number of our clients with ever increasing compliance requirements compounded by numerous data challenges./system challenges.

Having worked in US for over ten years and established a strong TP practice in Philadelphia, I moved to India and assumed a number of roles over five years there.a) Began by leading Deloitte's TP practice in Delhi: With a team of more than 40 professionals, we supported a large number of clients, and handled all aspects of transfer pricing (planning, compliance, audit support and litigation). We grew quite fast and a number of new partners have now been established in Delhi practice.b) Led the first two Bilateral APAs in India. I had the privilege of assisting a large MNC through different phases of APA and coordinating across various stakeholders including the Indian goverment. Have also had the opportunity to manage a number of Unilateral APA negotiations.c) With the introduction of BEPS Action Points by OECD, the focus on TP policy and compliance has increased. Deloitte asked me to re-start and retool Deloitte's Global Transfer Pricing Center in late 2014. By 2018, GTPC provided transfer pricing analysis support to Deloitte firms in more than 30 countries, and is staffed by experienced professionals, more than a dozen of whom have worked in or have advanced degrees from US/UK. GTPC team benefits from state-of-the-art training and regularly works on dozens of global documentation projects using strong collaboration and automation tools.d) Spoken at multiple domestic and international fora and trained tax professionals and government officials in the field of TP. Also, conducted management and leadership training for Deloitte's senior professionals in and out of India.

Summer internship in the Chicago office.

Worked in vendor development, which was a techno-commercial position requiring evaluation and management of component suppliers. It also required price negotiations with suppliers and evaluating their new projects to establish part manufacturing plants.
