Data warehousing track was responsible to retrieve the data from source systems, perform ETL function on the same and populate the Data Marts using Informatica. This was further provided for BI reports which were developed using TIBCO Spotfire. The target database used for loading was SQL Server 2012.Key Role and Responsibilities:• Defining the Business Requirement and closing on the Business Requirement document.• Creating the ETL Architecture based on BRD.• Responsible for Requirement Analysis, Estimation, Design, Implementation and Code Reviews of the whole scope of migration. In addition to that impact analysis and estimation for any change requests being raised by business impacting the data migration was also handled by me.• Defining and Reviewing the Stories for each developer and making the complete low level plan • Worked on the Implementation of one of the entities using Informatica and Spotfire.

Description:The role of this track was to work closely with clients and prepare the training documents for the clients so that they can be trained on the new system which is being developed. This would then help them to continue their business as usual.Key Role and Responsibilities:• Working as a business analyst in the project, the role being to create the Training documents for the entire development done by the project in last 2 year or so and presenting it to clients.• Working closely with client team and working in the onshore / offshore mode making sure that effective communication and co-ordination was maintained.• Created the modules for 10 different applications which are being developed by team sitting in different geographies.

Data Migration track in a Banking domain Project was responsible for migrating the data of the current Repository to the database of new applications being developed as part of the project.The platforms for migration were SQL server to Oracle and Oracle 9i to Oracle 11g for a total of 8 entities. Various transformation rules were applied to migrate the data in the required format which required extensive use of Oracle PL/SQL.Key Role and Responsibilities:• Played the role of a Track Lead for a team consisting of 6 members handling the migration of 8 entities.• Responsible for Requirement Analysis, Estimation, Design, Implementation and Code Reviews of the whole scope of migration. In addition to that impact analysis and estimation for any change requests being raised by business impacting the data migration was also handled by me.• Making sure the coding standards for PL/SQL are being followed in the team, also keeping the focus on the performance of the code to minimize the time taken for migration. For this implemented Parallel Processing being introduced in Oracle 10g.• Worked on the implementation of various Stored Procedures and Packages for the ETL process. For some entities used DTS packages and SQL * Loader to extract the data from one database to another. Used features of Oracle 10g like XML processing, Parallel Processing, Pivoting/Unpivoting to apply the transformation rules to the data.

This is one of the critical and on time deliverables required by the clients with technically complex changes in the critical business areas. The purpose of the project is to manage assets and calculate the charges to generate bills of electricity consumption for clients of a leading utilities (electricity) distributor in North West UK. The Meter Data Management system (MDMS), part of an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), is used for Validation, Estimation & Editing of meter reads. The Billing System is used for billing various Suppliers using these reads and constitutes of modules like Contract Management, Revenue Protection Services and Change of SupplierKey Role and Responsibilities:• Creating Minutes of Meeting of workshops, and requirement specifications.• Headed Change requests team to provide effective Change Request delivery to users introducing improvements and processes while taking care of tracking progress, publishing weekly status reports with clients and managing production releases. Worked closely with the client to analyze the requirements for a complex Change Requests at client location. • Ownership of process improvements, estimation, planning and execution of maintenance releases.• Analysis, implementation of code fixes including front end code in J2EE and business logic in Oracle PL/SQL• Coordinating the System Testing, UAT and PROD releases with clients and the off shore team.• Worked on performance improvement of application with code refactoring in Java and improvements in Oracle PL/SQL components.
