As a Data Science Lead at UnitedHealth Group, I lead a team of data scientists to build state-of-the-art NLP solutions that provide insights into customer contacts across various channels. These insights help reduce operational costs and improve customer experience by identifying the reasons for interaction, dissatisfaction, and sentiment. We use Python, R, Hive/SQL, SparkSQL, and PySpark to develop and deploy our solutions, and leverage machine learning, deep learning, and big data analytics techniques.I am also passionate about improving the health outcomes of high-cost and high-needs patients, and I have developed and deployed analytical solutions that identify and prioritise these patients, and measure the effectiveness and impact of various consumer initiatives using randomised controlled trials and A/B testing. These solutions enabled dedicated advocates to support the members with complex medical needs and improve their health outcomes.I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at Georgia Institute of Technology, with a focus on artificial intelligence and data science. I have a Post Graduation Diploma in Applied Statistics from Indira Gandhi National Open University, and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science Engineering with Honors from Kurukshetra University. I am also a Kaggle Notebook Expert and have earned 24 bronze medals. I enjoy volunteering and taking L&D sessions within the organisation Analytics University (UHG)
