• Supporting enterprise customers succeed on AWS with focus on: Redshift, Elasticsearch, Kinesis, Athena, RDS (MySQL), Quicksight• Tuning performance - for data ingestion from various sources - query as well as architecting Data Warehouse on Redshift. • Identification of bugs, recommending documentation updates, coming up with feature requests on different components • Creating scripts to display various metrics which come handy for troubleshooting customer issues such as read/write latency • Working with account managers and SA to make sure customers succeed during production upgrades or other live events• Mentoring and helping other teammates on issues. - Migrated data models from ERwin version 8.2 to version 9.6. - Implemented the complete software stack in Dev environment to assess a trial copy of the software.- Presented the uses of the software to the CIO and CTO.- Highlighted the features of product which can help in data governance, metadata refresh etc. - Helped refresh the metadata for one of the core data warehouses.- Configured SQL server 2012 (enterprise) for ERwin Mart, Portal.- Configured Apache Tomcat server to serve as a App server for ERwin web portal. - Administered the implementation by creating and testing various roles and groups.- Participated in meetings with software vendors to understand implementation concerns. - Updated the domain naming standards of various models. Target is to achieve an enterprise wide domain naming standard.- Estimated the implementation costs of ERwin 9.6 Mart server.- Produced a solution design of ERwin 9.6 implementation in front of higher management.- Modified physical/logical data models.

Assignment : Loblaws - It is the leading retail giant in Canada and relies heavily on statistics to help in decision making. - On this engagement I got an opportunity to work on a data warehouse. - Development involved SAP transaction system (ECC),SAP business warehouse,Terdata and HANA, SAP BODS.- Good hands on experience on following Unix (Shell scripting), PL/SQL, SAP BODS, SAP HANA, Teradata.- ETL workflows to fetch data from SAP BW sources using R/3 flows- Push down performance enhancements to decrease job execution time.- Dealing with multi terabyte databases to retrieve data in the semantic layer.- Wrote complex analytical queries- Fetch data from various data marts into the staging area. Perform data cleansing operations and populate the data into the core data warehouse- Data profiling for the data warehouse to achieve data quality.- Good knowledge of data warehousing concepts such as star schema, snowflake schema, dimensional modeling, facts, dimensions, aggregates, Kimball and Inmon approaches for building a data warehouse, slicing and dicing etc.

Assignment : Telstra- It is the leading telecom giant in Australia. - Worked on comverse's kenan to work on change requests in billing. - Development of CRs included work in PL/SQL and shell Scripting.- Implemented stored procedures using optimization techniques such as bulk commits. - Experience of working on Toad.- Performing post deployment shakeouts to verify the correctness of code in various environments.- Developed shell scripts to pass parameters to stored procedures. - Shell scripts were automated using Ctrl-M job scheduler.- Resolving tickets and issues related to stored procedures. - Maintained versions and history in Rational ClearCase. - Base lined most of the project artifacts. - Created deployment requests on ClearQuest.
