I have the privilege of working at Hotel Yak and Yeti, a prestigious 5-stars heritage palace hotel in the heart of Nepal, Kathmandu. With 245 rooms, 10 meeting halls, and 2 restaurants and a huge garden it's a true gem in the hospitality industry, honored as Asia's best historical, convention, and destination hotel by the esteemed Haute Grandeur Global Awards.In my role as a Executive Assistant to the Hotel General Manager, I am immerse in the dynamic world of hotel management. My responsibilities encompassed a wide spectrum, from crafting insightful reports and overseeing financial matters, including invoices and purchase orders, to HR functions such as drafted employee contracts and managing attendance records.I also play a pivotal role in checking the room quality of hotel rooms and ensuring an exceptional guest experience as well as taken a part to train the Housekeeping employee to increasing the service standard of hotel, actively engaging and replying the feedback on prominent OTAs platform like TripAdvisor, Booking.com, Google, and Agoda with the help of Revinate.Moreover, I actively attend to various high-level meetings, including hotel forecasts, HODs' morning meeting, revenue discussions, and hotel union negotiations.Additionally, I take on a central role in managing administrative work in the Hotel General Manager's office which include writing minutes, sending mail, creating files and folder and handling bank account which provided me with valuable insights into the intricate workings of the hotel industry. My time at Hotel Yak and Yeti is a remarkable journey, filled with learning experiences and professional growth that I deeply appreciate.
