Job Responsibilities/Work profile (% Role)1) STP/ ETP/ RO/ UF/ MBR/ Ozone/ ZLD: project designing, procrument, execution, erection and commissioning activity (40%): involved in Designing, proposal making, project cost estimation, P&ID, Civil GA, Hydraulic, process flow drawings preparation, vendor selection for material procurement, erection and commissioning activity of different water/wastewater treatment plants, zero liquid discharge ZLD plants.2) R&D work (10%): To carry out different R&D work as per the clients requirement. Develop suitable technologies for ETP/STP/WTP.3) Onsite Pilot/ Lab scale studies (10%): Developing different Pilot scale/ Lab scale experimental setups.4) Resolving different issues from ETP/STP/WTP sites (30%): Visiting the STP/ETP plant sites to understand the problem faced in operation and resolve their plant operation issue.5)Monitoring ETP performance data (5%): Regular monitoring of ETP performance data. And research grant from National Science Council (NSC) of Taiwan.Research associate: Professor Sheng-Jie You Work profile: To Carry out fundamental research in Membrane formation and surface modification, membrane fouling, membrane separation and designing hybrid MBR water and wastewater treatment systems. Guiding master students during their research work. Maintaining instrumental and analytical laboratories. Writing research proposals for obtaining government grant for different research projects.Major achievements: In this project we aimed to develop a method for preparation of highly micro-porous antifouling composite PVDF/TiO2 membrane with enhance permeability and self-cleaning properties. We hope this modification could solve membrane fouling and frequent chemical cleaning problem. This project also aimed to develop and design appropriate MBR treatment system (pilot scale) using modified self cleaning membrane system for the treatment of domestic and industrial wastewater treatment systems. Therefore, this research will be helpful for developing actual large-scale treatment system for implementing this treatment system for actual wastewater.

Work profile: Analysis of dioxin and dioxin like compounds present in different environmental, food samples using CALUX bioassay and High resolution HRGC/MS technique. Development of suitable extraction and cleanup method for dioxin from different spices and milk related products samples

Major Achievements: Operated Manual Operating, Semi-controlled Batch Process Plants. Handled different unit operations and batch processes. Managed and guided workers by allocating the work to them and achieved better result.
