Closely worked on UNIX/Database for implementation of messaging service.Roles & Responsibilities:• SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for IPX Front Office Operations from Ericsson Global Networks Operation Centre providing Support to all Content Providers and Operators linked with IPX world wide.• Held responsibilities of Incident & Problem Manager after implementation of ITIL in IPX.• Configuration and troubleshooting Activities of IPX Messaging & Application Servers which involves sound knowledge of VAS products & applications running on Linux (RHEL 5) environment.• Configuring Content Providers when implementing, installing and integrating their system towards the IPX service ( through HTTP or SMPP protocols )• Complete Short codes configurations in IPX system which in turn is connected with the content provider interface through SOAP API and operators SMSC (through HTTP, SMPP or CIMD protocols as per operator compatibility).• Responsible for Taking backups and dumps and managing them as per the company strategy.
