The Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges (SBCTC) is undertaking the implementation of a new University-wide common suite of policies, processes, and technologically advanced information systems across Financial, Human Capital Management and Campus Solutions business areas. This single and centralized system of online student and administrative functions will give students, faculty and staff anytime/anywhere access to a modern, efficient means of doing their college business.

Scope of the project includes bug-fix and new enhancements in the PeopleSoft Absence Management, Time & Labor, Payroll, Employee Self Service (ESS), and Manager Self-Service (MSS) modules.

The scope of this project was to complete a company-wide implementation of PeopleSoft Time & Labor and Absence Management modules and enhancements in Benefits Admin and NA Payroll modules.

New product implementation for PeopleSoft Absence Management. McLane Company has very complex accrual requirements and entitlement logic and thus as a part of streamlining the Absence Reporting and utilizing the efficiency of Self-Service functionality for Employees and Managers, they have decided to implement PeopleSoft Absence Management system. Absence Management system will be providing on-demand information for employees and their managers and it’ll will also be offering the accuracy of accruals and less customization as compared to McLane Company’s current Leave Accrual process.

The Dow Chemical Company has initiated this project in order to transform their Human Resource systems into a global operating model. Due to the age of their existing application software, their interest in new capabilities and their recent acquisition of Rohm and Haas, Dow’s vision is to leverage industry best practices and implement a PeopleSoft solution to support the integrated requirements of the combined company.
