• Dashboard Development: Played a lead role in the development of 3 nationally critical bioinformatics dashboards for the CDC including the Flu Dashboard, RSV Dashboard, and Covid-19 Dashboard, all of which are regularly cited by CDC and researchers. • Whitehouse Vaccine Task Force: Designed tools used by the CDC and the Whitehouse to model and plan for vaccine distribution as well as enabling more strategic vaccine deployment. While completing master’s degree in bioinformatics, was hired to support high-level industry research under the mentorship of accomplished academics, Professor Milton Taylor, and Professor Sun Kim. • Micro Array Data Analysis: Participated in the analysis of Micro Array data from the treatment of a Daudi tumor cell line with Interferon and Ribavirin as part of the ViraHepC Project.• Gene Expression Alterations: Observed alterations in thousands of gene expression levels, with a notable finding that about 50% of the genes were downregulated rather than induced.• Ribosomal Synthesis Genes: Noted a significant impact on a group of genes, particularly those involved in ribosomal synthesis and protein synthesis, which were most affected and downregulated.

Project is focused on the development of a predictive model that draws information from molecular, clinical, and pathologic source data pertaining to individual patients within a tumor database. Specifically, we aim to identify novel unique epigenetic and glycoproteomic molecular markers that predict solid GI tumor biology (i.e. survival, locoregional and systemic recurrence, response to chemoradiotherapy, etc) of patients with pancreatic cancer before and after their surgical resection.
