Currently, I lead the operations of Roche Pharma and hold P&L responsibility, Market Development, Organisational Transformation, Digital Adoption with focus on Oncology, Rare Conditions (Hemophilia A and SMA), Neurology and Ophthalmology. In short, we are transforming the healthcare ecosystem in India and it’s my privilege to be part of this journey. Over the last two decades, I played the innovator as well as executor, working with two of the biggest med tech giants - Siemens and GE. My career trajectory is packed with immense learnings and life touching stories - from selling boxes, shaping large deals, nurturing new care areas that impact human lives. While doing so, I had an opportunity to build personal relations with KOLs, doctors, policy makers, government officials, investors, suppliers, distributors, NGOs, and budding entrepreneurs. The saga continues - learning every single day. There are many career highlights to talk about. However, one of my defining moments was while incubating an oncology care area solution. In a way, it was like an entrepreneur-in-residence role - developed innovative business models, created show-sites demonstrating partnership and solutions, and overseeing delivery of digital, consulting, and financial capabilities to customers. Having worked in radiology, cardiology, oncology, and other care areas, I gained deep commercial acumen (Sales/BD, Marketing, Product Management), Project Management & Operations Expertise. My early stints in manufacturing, product and project management have given me an additional flavour of knowing the entire product value chain from conceptualisation, manufacturing, Product Introduction and business expansion.
