I am a post-graduate from Mumbai University, specializing in entomology, and I joined BNHS in 2009. My research interests span insect taxonomy, museum management and digitization, biological preservation, citizen science, urban ecology, long-term ecological research, and bird hazard and air safety projects for the defense and civil aviation sectors. Over the past 15 years, I have contributed to 30 research projects as either a team member or Principal Investigator. I am a fellow of the American Alliance of Museums and received the Museum Connect award in the USA in 2014. My research has been published in international peer-reviewed journals such as Science, JBNHS, PLOS One, Zootaxa, Science Direct, and Indian Birds.
