Rahul Majumdar was COO at The Wild East Group, a firm that explored that idea of licensing driven business opportunities for celebrity, sports and corporate brands in India.

Carving Dreams (now Exceed Entertainment) is India’s premier Celebrity talent management agency, exclusively representing some of India’s top A-list talent in the entertainment and movie business. Rahul lead the effort in celebrity brand endorsement and licensing deals. He was involved in the ideation and execution of celebrity aligned brand partnerships and intellectual property creation for the digital platform.

This was a short assignment to stream line and put in place a business development function for the organization.

LOTUS, was a start up firm that specialized in leadership transformation and goal achievement. This was a high energy environment with a great product. Rahul’s role here involved the entire gamut of organizational activities, from business development to product execution.

BMR Advisors, was a mid-sized professional services consulting firm. Rahul’s role at BMR involved him being the HR lead for the Mumbai offices of BMR. At a firm wide scale, Rahul was accountable for the development of leadership education modules, design and execution of a 360º developmental feedback process and employee engagement.

Fifth Quadrant was a leadership consulting and education outfit. It was a three person team, with a great leadership achievement program. Rahul held a dual role with this organization - business development and workshop/consulting practice execution.

Levis Strauss, India aimed to roll out what would be a ‘branded retail experience’ at their exclusive stores in India. Rahul’s key role at Levis (India) was to enable this process through retail staff training.

Rahul joined what was an infant brand as part of Cafe Coffee Day’s (CCD) first batch of management trainees. CCD as a brand was poised for growth and the entire management and leadership team were aligned and committed to that end. The key focus of his role was the delivery of exceptional customer and brand experience to the cafe guests through retail staff recruitment, service excellence training and personal development.
