Dynamic modelling of a Clutch system in a 1 D simulation environmentMajority of heavy-duty vehicles are equipped with dry friction clutch to regulate and transfer the torque. Scania vehicles are built on modular systems which allows a large number of unique vehicle configurations. Some of these options will affect how much the clutch need to slip in order to start a vehicle. If too much heat is generated due to friction work, the clutch facings will wear out faster than acceptable, or even be permanently destroyed. With a robust mathematical model, it will be easy to predict the amount of slippage and head generated during the clutch engagement mechanism and provide recommendations on the modular system.

The track focuses on the development and engineering of innovative technical systems and high-performing components and relies on a holistic design approach as well as on specialist knowledge.

- Responsible for the design and development of brake system for two wheeler motorcycles- Worked on the Simulation software ANSYS for Strength and Thermal Analysis of Brake System Components. Optimization of Brake components based on the simulated and benchmarked data of competitor brake Components- Design and Developed New Idea of Combined Braking System(CBS) for two-wheel motorcycle and filed Patent on them-Brake Circuit Packaging for Combined Braking System -Conducted Brake System Testing’s at the component level and assembly level and performed Subjective Brake test on Vehicle

- Study of Kinematics and Dynamics of the Loader Mechanism.- Using NX, designed and modelled a Backhoe Loader. - Developed a Mathematical Model using MATLAB for the derivation of Forces and Engine Power using Kinematic and Dynamic Equations

- Gained knowledge of the manufacturing process for Spur Gear, Helical Gears, and Gear Housing. - Study of the Gear Housing Assembly line- Assembly time, Number of stations, Manpower, Assembly setups.- Designed an Assembly line for S-Series Gear Housing
