Hello đź‘‹, I am Rahul, a curious software engineer with 7+ years of software development experience. I am deeply passionate about software systems and that is reflected in my hobby of reading research papers.I believe learning is not just reading, but understanding what you have read. This led me to create posts on LinkedIn that take cryptic concepts and make them easy to digest. Like the one on "How does Dyanmo use Merkle trees to sync replicas" or "How does Kafka store and serve messages".I am always looking for challenging work because that pushes me out of my comfort zone. Like the one project where I was leading a rails upgrade project. I had very limited knowledge of rails and no leading experience as such. It was one of the most challenging things I have done but it was equally rewarding.I like to explore new areas of software development. I recently worked on a few projects as a DevOps engineer where I learnt how to build deployment pipelines.I just don't write beautiful code, but also build beautiful yet cost-effective infrastructure to run the code on.
