About Rahul Ranjan

As a founder of a stealth startup, I am working on solving the next big problem for India. I am passionate about challenging scenarios and opportunities that can help me grow and learn faster. I have a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering and a minor in industrial and management engineering from IIT Kanpur, one of the most prestigious institutes in the country.Before starting my own venture, I was involved in multiple 0 to 1 building challenges in various domains and industries. I have launched and scaled the Real Money Gaming (RMG) business at ShareChat, a leading social media platform, generating $100Mn+ in annualised GMV. I have also built the Retail Business Unit at Rivigo, a logistics unicorn, from scratch, scaling revenue to $14Mn in 8 months and opening 200+ micro-markets. Prior to that, I co-founded Pariksha, an ed-tech startup, where I was responsible for its business and operations strategy, partnering with 300+ colleges. My core competencies include new business development, sales and marketing, and business growth strategies. I have also led various teams and initiatives at IIT Kanpur, such as ENACTUS, Takneek, and MUN.
