Rahul is an undergraduate at Furman University, majoring in both Physics and Computer Science. He has 2 years of experience in Python. His journey into coding and science began with a deep-rooted interest in astronomy, sparked by participation in the Olympiads, which soon led to a love for coding as a way to bring scientific ideas to life. Now, Rahul actively combines his knowledge across fields, using coding and data to explore intersections like applying machine learning to astronomy. In his free time, he works on projects such as automating LaTeX for linear algebra assignments and improving runtime efficiency with parallelization techniques. As Astronomy Head at the Society of Physics Students and Vice President of Furman’s calisthenics club, he takes on leadership roles, supporting his interests both in and out of the classroom.
