I returned to my Family Business after the completion of my MBA at IESE Business School, and I am now responsible for Business Development and the Sales & Marketing functions.During this time, we added a new vertical for Beverages & Stationery, and launched several category leading brands in the Nepalese FMCG industry.

- Founded Perfume Avenue after identifying and analyzing opportunities in the Nepalese perfume retail industry- Led implementation of a revolutionary low-cost kiosk model that controlled costs and promoted expansion to achieve strict budget targets of the venture- Optimized the cost structure of the company by negotiating margin arrangements with major supermarkets & shopping centers to save on high fixed costs and to improve business viability- Successfully acquired distribution agreements of major perfume companies such as Designer Perfumes (Aigner,Agent Provocateur), Franck Olivier, Lulu Castagnette and Ajmal- Achieved leading position in the industry within 2 years by launching stores in 6 locations- Multiplied sales revenue by 4 times (July 2012 to July 2013) by adding new stores and brands- Launched a major marketing campaign in collaboration with leading Nepalese lifestyle and fashion magazines that resulted in higher sales revenue and increased brand awareness- Managed a team of 20 employees and introduced benefits and incentives that improved retention of sales personnel

Phuche.com is Nepal's First Online Store exclusively targeted to the Baby & Kids Segment. We went live on January 20, 2016 and have been delighting Mothers and Kids alike since then. I exited the company in September 2018 after selling the venture to a leading Nepalese E-commerce company.

As a summer associate at BIC UK, I was responsible for the following:- Led the development of an internal initiative to identify the feasibility of launching a new shaver on Amazon UK and formulated a strategy to integrate BIC’s E-commerce efforts across Europe- Developed a clear plan for launching new offerings on E-commerce portals in the UK and across Europe- Identified the viability of BIC’s proprietary E-commerce platform, with recommendations supported by management- Proposed an alignment plan for BIC’s websites and social media presence on the basis of a digital audit- Successfully met internal milestones for project development and presentations to the management team- Worked independently on both projects, managing relationships with teams in different functions across Europe,including Sales, Category Management, Management, Marketing & External Agencies
