Diagnostic Author
Current- Develops workshop and diagnostic manual documents for FORD Global Vehicles. - Responsible for developing ‘Description & Operation’ and ‘Diagnosis & Testing’ procedures for assigned equities. - Authors information using various electronic systems, such as Teamcenter, ArborText, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Word and Excel. - Having basic knowledge of On-board diagnostics, UDS protocol, CAN protocol, LIN, Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC), Data Identifiers (DID).- Analyses program specific wiring subsystem schematics, CAD files, base documents, network topology and control module specific Part II specification (detailed information of DTCs and DIDs involved).- Develops technical information using client supplied resources, such as subject matter expert, engineering schematics, product teardowns. - Validates technical information based on client supplied information. - Consults with various clients contact and subject matter experts to gather product specific information. - Participates in meetings with clients, subject matter experts and departmental co-workers. - Responsible for delivery of projects which are on time, within budget and accurate. - Providing training to new joiners.
