Operation Executive/Customer Service
- Oversee daily operational activities, for the export/re-export process [FCL/LCL](documentation, shipment tracking, transport co-ordination and resolving shipping discrepancies).- Maintain strong relation with key stakeholders, including carriers, customs agents and vendors, to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of shipments.- Receive client enquiry, gather rates from multiple partners, calculate consolidated freight costs, and deliver quotation to the client.- Preparing the customer quotation as per SOP.- Coordinate booking and negotiations with carriers (MLO & NVOCC).- Facilitate cross-stuffing coordination within JAFZA and manage customs procedures at Dubai Trade.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues.- Checking of all shipment documents like invoice, packing list and any other documents involved.- Preparation BL draft, Freight Insurance, ISF filing, Export BOE, additional certificates etc.- Liaise with overseas agents to check the shipping documents, rules and regulations for the respective import countries, like African sector (ECTN, BESC, CNCA, BIETEC, ACID, NMC) etc.- Handle COD, cross trade, agent nomination, dangerous & project cargo shipments.- Respond to customer inquiries and provide updates on shipment status and assisting in maintaining accurate records and database related to operations.- Arrange documents for customs clearance procedure if any customs examination arise.- Managed cross-functional teams to achieve project goals on time.- Trigger invoices and release the final BL against payment term.- Submitting shipment supporting documents, including cost sheets to accounts closing job.- Follow up for VAT exit, Jebel Ali Freezone Exit, Ducab Exit & Sharjah Hamriyah Exit.
