StoryTime: How a Linkedin Post helped me Revoke a Rejection!It all started with a dream to be part of JioCinema's product team. The challenge? JioCinema doesn’t hire interns for their product team, especially not from non-BITS colleges. Undeterred, I cold-emailed the team. When I didn’t get a response, I CC’ed key decision-makers. Finally, I received a reply: “We don’t have any openings.” But I didn’t accept rejection. 🚀One night, I stayed up until 3 AM, creating a comprehensive strategy deck for JioCinema, focusing on brand identity, positioning, and product strategy. I posted the deck on LinkedIn, tagging the management and key stakeholders. 🔥A few days passed in silence until JioCinema’s CEO saw it, appreciated my effort, and left a comment. A few weeks later, I was sitting in JioCinema’s office, meeting the person who had said, “We don’t have any openings.” Talk about a plot twist! 🎬Seeking a role that enables shaping and executing Product Personalization & Discovery strategies, GTM & Brand Positioning (Identity), Operations & Team Management, Stakeholder Management, and Data Analytics, while driving impactful strategy formulation and enhancing overall product growth.During my internship, I led product discovery and personalization, streamlining automated reporting for leadership.
