As a designer driven by curiosity, I love unearthing the root causes of a good problem and finding elegant, data-backed solutions. I view UX as a type of hospitality and no matter the project, I strive to ensure that the user feels welcomed in that space with my eights years of experience in the field of design. I am fluent in the Adobe Suite and proficient in Sketch, Figma, Condens, and Miro. More than technical capabilities though, what sets me apart is my three-tiered strengths of strategy, research, and design production. This means that I naturally explore underlying user needs and stakeholder/business strategy when working on a design and I bring my knowledge of well-designed white space and layout to reduce cognitive dissonance within my research work. The results are higher completion rates for surveys, easily digestible reports to gain stakeholder buy-in, and polished design work that generates interest, leads, and sales.I work as a Communication Designer for an agile SaaS company, creating everything from entire feature workflows to secondary product brand identities and every level of designed communication in-between. I've also conducted diary studies, observational research, and surveys to collect both qualitative and quantitative data to help inform those projects. I'm passionate about telling data-driven stories to my stakeholders and our users so that the people are cared for and, inevitably, so is the business.
