Rai Antonio De Jesus has two decades of expertise in procurement and supply chain management. Currently, he holds the roles of Chief Procurement Officer at ePLDT and Vice President & Group Head for Procurement at PLDT and Smart.His professional journey began in 2005 at Toyota, and transitioned in a leadership role in 2007 at Emerson. He made a noteworthy move to Accenture in 2010, where he took responsibility for sourcing and procurement operations teams. Within two years, he earned a promotion to Category Manager, playing a pivotal role in the shift from functional procurement to category management procurement.In 2013, Rai entered a new chapter at Citibank as the Regional Procurement Manager for Technology, achieving yet another rapid promotion within two years, this time as the Regional Head of Technology Procurement. In this influential role, he expertly managed an annual supplier spend of $500 million, overseeing procurement activities spanning the Asia Pacific and Europe regions, encompassing IT hardware, software, IT services, and end-user products.Parallel to his corporate responsibilities, Rai has also been making valuable contributions as a University Professor since 2015 through a partnership with PISM. In this role, he imparts knowledge and expertise in procurement and logistics subjects, further enriching the next generation of professionals in the field.
