A new driving strategies was developed to increase the efficiency of public transportation which can eliminate dedicated bus lanes while providing the same benefits for bus transportation by creating minimal impact on private vehicles. The analysis was conducted with the microscopic traffic simulation software PTV Vissim where a python script was developed to establish the communication between vehicles. Besides VisVAP was used to develop vehicle actuated ramp metering.

The effects of bicycle traffic on the traffic efficiency of motor vehicles at intersections and also the influence of various infrastructure layouts and signal control properties on traffic efficiency of the bicycle as well as motor vehicles were investigated in this research. The analysis was conducted with the microscopic traffic simulation software PTV VISSIM where COM interface and VBA macros were used for the simulation and final evaluation.

Responsibility was checking the construction work according to the design and planning the required resources for the desired project.
