As a member of the selective TeenTix Press Corps Newsroom, I write and publish arts-centered reviews and articles for a variety of acclaimed distributors, including The Seattle Times. I go through the professional writing process, working with Editors to revise and improve my initial drafts bound by a timeline. My writing in the TeenTix Newsroom aims to proliferate experiences viewing the arts to a wide youth audience.

“Bollywood Bros” is a cultural appreciation club dedicated to empowering the South Asian community at Interlake. We aim to increase the visibility of positive South Asian representation through Bollywood movie screenings, to beat the negative stereotypes often exemplified in mainstream American media.As the founder, I oversaw marketing and internal operations as well as logistics. Under my leadership, the club was the fastest growing newly established club at Interlake in the 2022-23 school year.

Driven significant growth and enhanced its operational efficiency, including a 100% membership increase, award-winning curriculum development, and paperwork tracker implementation.

Founded and developed our inaugural club-wide Interlake MUN conference. 'IMUN' is a 100% free conference, with the goal of making a high quality MUN conference experience more accessible to the grand body of Interlake MUN students (many of whom hadn't attended a conference prior to IMUN). Recognizing the statistical discrepancy between club members/attendance and conference attendance, IMUN was forged.

Selected by TIPS as 1 of 75 interns from competitive pool of ~800 applicants. Matched to Holocaust Center because of Business inclination.Prospecting 60+ grants. Used Neon CRM system. Applied documentation like 990 forms. Invited to continue service at the center and be a speaker at the annual Voices for Humanity (VFH) Luncheon with ~700 guests.Spearheaded teen programming like first Teen Takeover in Museum. Directed multiple marketing channels (Social Media, Advertising, etc), gaining positive feedback from users and TIPS and HCH social media followers.

Based off my dedication and passion as a Teen Arts Council member, I was selected twice to serve as a Teen Advisor to help curate the Teen Arts Council curriculum and members for the following school year (Summers before the 2022-23, 2023-24 school years).• Hiring: Developed an application form and selected ~20 applicants to interview from 100+ responses. Managed many interviews, taking notes and using them to inform hiring decisions.• Curriculum (Summer, 2022): Reformulated curriculum and timeline of the Teen Arts Council for the upcoming 2022-23 school year. Ideated programs and organizational structure to improve efficiency and collaboration from the year prior.

As the Under-Secretary General of Media, I increased club outreach through Social Media platforms and Microsoft Teams. Was the creative lead of the club and mastered graphic design platforms (such as Canva). I also served as a point-of-contact for club members.

Two-time Class Officer elected to represent grade. Organized and led multiple fundraisers, uniting Interlake’s community and generating over $2k in funds for Prom. Budgeted and planned large-scale school dances. Communicated with students, staff, and third parties in-person, through email, and via Social Media platforms.
