In this role, I planned and executed sustainable community development programs. I collaborated directly with local government entities, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), schools, and gardening and farming cooperatives in the areas of food security, food production and agricultural consulting, and environmental outreach. In these capacities, I wrote and administered grants, managed community-level projects and programs directed at improved food security, nutrition-based agriculture, and local environmental action; organized and directed capacity building initiatives and trainings; and coordinated environmental outreach campaigns.
